Midwifery and Reproductive Health

Overview

Our mission is to conduct research and make societal contributions to support women. We aim to establish lifestyle-related health guidance and care, occasionally using biochemical data, to ensure optimal physical and mental health of women during their pregnancy, childbirth, and child-rearing periods.
Furthermore, our laboratory encourages researchers from midwifery and women support fields who can be active not only in Japan but also internationally.
We look forward to welcoming students who have enthusiasm and ambition to improve the support provided to women, from pregnancy to the child-rearing period.
