In the 21 st century, the issues that medicine needs to address range from various diseases to health and welfare of the general public. Today's medical professionals are required to respond properly to a wide spectrum of problems. Under these circumstances, medical professionals such as physicians, nurses,
radiological technologists
and
medical technologists
need to contribute to the advancement of medicine in the clinical setting as equal partners.

In order to meet these social needs, the Osaka University School of Allied Health Sciences offers courses to teach scientific theory and practical skills in Nursing,
Medical Physics and Engineering
, and Laboratory Science. We aim to conduct research with regard to advanced medical expertise and technology and to educate students in a holistic manner. By doing so, we take the initiative in academic advancement as the center of excellence. At the same time our goal is to develop leaders who will play a core role in delivering the technological advancements. |
