Joint Research Results by The University of Osaka, Graduate school of Medicine, Division of health Sciences and Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering
– Future Skincare System “SKIN VOICE”

Based on the joint research results of Professor Yoshinosuke Hamada (Specially Appointed Professor, Graduate school of Medicine, Division of health Sciences, The University of Osaka) and Professor Tsutomu Terada (Graduate School of Engineering, Kobe University), the future-oriented skincare system “SKIN VOICE” has been developed by Momotani Juntenkan Co., Ltd. and will be exhibited at the Reborn Challenge of the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion during Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, from Tuesday, June 10 to Monday, June 16, 2025.

“SKIN VOICE” is a wearable system in the form of glasses, consisting of a sensor device equipped with various sensors and a shooter device that sprays skincare mist accordingly. The sensor device continuously monitors and records the user's skin condition 24/7, detecting even the slightest changes that may go unnoticed. When it senses signs of skin issues such as dryness or a weakened barrier function, it automatically selects the appropriate skincare lotion and disperses it in an ultra-fine mist. Professor Hamada contributed to this project through his research on the C3 peptide, a key component of the skincare lotion used in this system.
