The Laboratory of Chronic Disease Nursing is engaged in research rooted in nursing practice, focused on providing support for "living with illness in one's own way.”
Graduate students are encouraged to explore the kind of care needed today and discover research themes based on questions and concerns that arise in their own experiences and nursing practice. Graduate students will develop the ability to create care by enhancing their research skills in a proactive learning format. We have also initiated a program to train nurse practitioners, for whom nursing practice and care creation are important. Website
